Now it’s getting good! I spent the first three months getting ready for my trip to Europe. I was amazed when my son, Drew, wanted to join me. What 30 year old guy wants to travel and spend two weeks with his mother? But I was thrilled. I also, unknown to me at the time, then began my photography journey. I bought a Canon Powershot RX70 for the trip. It was a bridge camera, a cross between a point-and-shoot and DSLR. I spent a lot of time getting acquainted with it, so I could operate it without any issues. I was probably more excited about this trip than I’d ever been. And it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime.
